“I’m really impressed by this; a top, top job. Beautifully written, clear, very useful and full of context,”
Simon Cliffe, director at Branch Road
I provide writing services to companies, NGOs, media organisations, authors and publishers to ensure that their message is crisp, accurate and highly readable.
Reports. Whether it be a report on tourism, media development or automated decision-making. I am very adept at turning weighty tomes into clear text. I particularly enjoy the challenge of editing reports written by multiple authors.
Corporate writing. I craft words to fit a brief, to engage, entertain, inform and educate. I help your audience understand complicated topics by presenting information in an easily digestible manner.
Journalism. I have written news reports, features and opinion articles for Reuters, New York Times, South China Morning Post, TIME, The Guardian, New Zealand Herald, Asahi Shimbun, BBC, CNN and many others.
Non-fiction. I am an experienced non-fiction book writer. I wrote two books about food and culture in Vietnam and South Korea and I also published a non-profit book about a gig in a small pub, in a small English town in 1985. I am represented by Kimberly Witherspoon, literary agent and founding partner at Inkwell Management in New York City.
“Holliday writes with exhilaration…. [His] loving, laddish descriptions will make gonzo gourmands salivate.”

And here I am with a report I did for From Our Own Correspondent on the BBC World Service.
