Quick reminder, I’ll be in Paris for Le Web 3.0 (Les Blogs) on Monday and Tuesday. Heading to Paris tomorrow morning. I should be meeting Robin, Ewan, John, Ian and Hugh. I’ll be blogging for Comment is Free and posting photos to my Flickr account. I’ll post the links proper when I’m in Paris. I’ll probably post here too, if I’m not too busy. I know blogging/future of media stuff doesn’t always interest regulars here, but if it interests you I hope you follow what’s going on. I’ll do my best to point out some of the more interesting stuff that comes out of the conference. A tout. If you’re in Paris and at the conference and fancy hooking up, drop a comment or email me.
I’ll take crumbs if crumbs is what I get. Young whippersnapper reporter Oliver from Journalism.co.uk can’t make Les Blogs and, very kindly, passes the place onto me. I won’t be working for Journalism.co.uk while I’m in Paris. I’m not sure who I’ll be working for at the moment. I’m pitching around as I type – quite a feat that – but as of this minute my arse is still available for rent. Need a feature or two? or blog coverage? Let me know. Here’s who else is signed up thus far.
I’m hoping to make it to Les Blogs in Paris on December 11th and 12th. The preliminary line-up looks great. I’ve emailed to see if I can get a press pass as it’s prohibitively expensive for me what with my PowerBook snuffin’ it rather rapidly last week. If you’re an editor and need a journalist to cover the conference or just fancy handing me the cash so I can blog it, lemme know. Ironically, it’s conferences like this I followed very keely from Vietnam. I always itched to attend. Now I’m living a few miles down the road, I still can’t afford to go without a commission to make the thing pay.
