I came across this Korean language, Korean food blog yesterday. It appears to be written by someone who is particularly keen on old school Korean restaurants. Places like the ones in these two photos from this post are not so hip with young Koreans, rapidly disappearing and yet are often more interesting than many new Korean restaurants.
There are too many good posts to mention, often about dishes that are unknown, or very uncommon, inside and outside Korea.
And some posts focus on things other than food, like this one on a ghost town. I had to use Google Translate to decipher meaning beyond the location, price and the names of dishes and it was well worth it.
If you’re interested in Korean food and restaurants from another era, like the one above, I highly recommend this blog.
