"Located in the city centre near the Cham Museum, Cafe Truc Lam Vien stands out among Da Nang’s parallelpiped buildings and ever-growing sea of Bia Hoi. The restaurant, designed as nha ruong Hue (Hue-styled wooden house), resembles an ancient manor, replete with views of the Han River. The restaurant’s entrance features two rows of bamboo swaying lightly in the wind. Inside, three rows of wooden houses line a 1,000sq.m garden, home to various plants: banana groves, areca trees, magnolia trees and more. On rainy days, sitting in the garden beneath an umbrella, guests are privy to a symphony by frog and insect instrumentalists," writes Vu Thu Ha for The Vietnam News.
