The US$133 per month Rwandatel ADSL wires that connect us from Kigali to the rest of the world. Looks like a pretty tenuous connection. And it is.

Graham, $133 per month? Wow, that's about 2.4 million dong!
That's some expensive connectivity. How's the power in Rwanda?

Sorry for delay in getting back to you Jon... comments not filtering through to email.
Power is good where we live. Get the ocassional power cut, but way, way less than Saigon and never for much longer than 15 or 30 minutes.
But, yeah, the net is pricey and unreliable. All set to get better so they say. Fingers crossed.
