I found the above site interesting - a look at then and now in Saigon from a photographer who was based there in the 70's. And worth a look are these snapshots in time of former foreign correspondents.

Thanks for these pictures, they bring back fond memories that I have of Saigon. I left there in 1983 and have not gone back yet. I used to live near the Dakao bridge. I am planning a trip back this year, definitely will visit the old neighborhood.
