Back in the picture
Apart from a fairly lo-fi cameraphone, I've been without a camera for a month or more since the old one decided it had had enough and didn't want to close its lens anymore. Christmas arrived early this week and I hope the new one lives up to its reputation.

Was that Sony Cybershot your old camera? I have that exact model (7.2 pixels; dark gray) and I'm having the same problems. If you gently tap on the side of the camera, it often will go back in. Obviously that's no long-term solution though. Quite frustrating.

Yes the cybershot was the old one and no amount of tapping did it any good I'm afraid Mike. Still, so far so good with the new one.

I've had my Lumix w/ Leica lens for a year and I love it. I can't believe the quality of the photos from such a little camera! (Tho' I did buy the pink one!)
