Le last Web word
I wrote that irony abounds at Le Web 3. Well it abounds with bells on now the conference is over. You might think that the sight of a gaggle of journalists sat down together in an upstairs room of the Equinox rooms in Paris or squatting on the conference floor desperately searching for wifi waves meant we were rabidly busy and not just whinging about the crappy conference wifi. The reality was we were scratching our collective heads to think of something to write about. There wasn't that much that was newsworthy, not a lot that grabbed the imagination. That's hardly been the case since the conference doors slammed shut on Tuesday evening what with sackings, gossip and autopsies by the bucketload. I've got nothing to add to the comments I've posted around the blogs. As always with these events, the things you remember, the people you remember, the conversations that continue are those that started in corridors and hallways with people over coffee, vino, steak tartare and beers. That's where I'm at.
Bonusvibrations: An audio viewpoint (I've yet to listen to, sorry if it's psychotic) and an idea provoking French freesheet video blog - Guardian etc. take note.
True. The difficulty arises when you didn't do any of that corridor stuff. :-/

But Ian, you were on a jolly with corporate paymasters :) Look forward to our conversation continuing, by the way. Also, did you manage to get an audio recorded? Don't forget to link to your new blog, you blog consultant you...
