5 things...

Memecity at the moment. Real Thai pokes me to follow Traveler's Lunchbox suggestion to "create a list of food bloggers' top picks for things you've eaten and think that everyone should eat at least once before they die."

Sashimi and shellfish sitting on an ugly, concrete wall by the sea in Korea in the winter.

Fish n chips freezing your nads off on a park bench on a windy, overcast day at the British seaside.

Oysters fresh out of the sea on the Atlantic seaboard in France.

Bun cha here. Not in Hanoi, as previously prescribed.

Freshly made papaya salad on the banks of the Mekong river in Laos.

And for five things to eat immediately before you die,

Fugu

Putrified shark

Narwhal

Tiet Canh

Opium

Oh man, this post reminded me of how as a kid, I came home to an entire porch full of snow white geese that I got to play with all afternoon. Imagine my horror when I witnessed my uncle cut a hole in each and every goose's neck to drain the blood out for Tiet Canh...ick, thanks for the memories Graham!

Oooo...Papaya salad in Luang Prabang, Laos downed with copious amounts of that darned Beer Lao was most excellent. Thanks for jogging my memory!
