Pane e Vino, 3 Nguyen Khac Can, Hanoi
The Vietnam News go Italian this week in Hanoi. "After going to Luna d’Atunno with real Italians who said it was the best, most authentic Italian food in Ha Noi, I was curious to see how Pane e Vino measured up in the scheme of the city’s flavourful Italian mix. On a Friday night, after a long work week, two Pane e Vino connoisseurs and I went to crack open a bottle of gorgeous Chianti and relax," reports Brooke Levy. VNS Photos by Doan Tung.
controversial... Luna has been taking all my business. But it sounds like I'll have to check this out.

In the two years that I lived in Hanoi, 2004-2006, I ate at this restaurant a multitude of times. My friends from the Italian embassy recommended and I had never heard anything but the best about it. I consider it to be the best Italian restaurant in Hanoi. I have had virtually everything on the menu and have been to the buffet two or three times. I will be travelling to Hanoi in May and I am looking forward to the fine cuisine and the friendly and efficient service.
